Winter preview
Our winter previews are out in The New Yorker! Some upcoming highlights from Pam Tanowitz (Pastoral), Alvin Ailey (Jazz Island), Merce Cunningham (Travelogue), Trisha Brown (Set and Reset), Justin Peck, and Alexei Ratmansky (both for NYCB). Ratmansky is making his own versoin of the 1936 ballet “Le Roi Nu,” based on the Hans Christian Andersen story “The Emperor’s New Clothes. Interesting choice.
